Blue Dwarf Aloe | Care Card

Blue Dwarf Aloe | Care Card - PLANT THIS

How much water does the Blue Dwarf Aloe need?

Water your Aloe only when the soil has completely dried out. Typically, this means watering every 1-2 weeks during summer and less frequently in winter.

Can I grow the Blue Dwarf Aloe indoors?

Absolutely! It thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. If growing indoors, place it near a south or east-facing window.

What happens if my Blue Dwarf Aloe is exposed to extreme heat?

If your Aloe is exposed to extreme heat (like 125°F), move it to a shaded location and increase watering slightly. Watch for signs of sunburn (brown or scorched spots on the leaves) and adjust its placement accordingly.

Is the Blue Dwarf Aloe pet-friendly?

While Aloe plants are generally non-toxic to humans, they can be mildly toxic to pets if ingested. Keep it out of reach of curious cats and dogs.

Optimal Temperature Range

Outdoor: 40°F – 85°F (4°C – 29°C). Prolonged exposure to temperatures above 100°F can stress the plant.

Indoor: 55°F – 75°F (13°C – 24°C)

Best Practices for Extreme Heat (125ºF):

Shade: Move the Aloe to a shaded area or provide cover with a shade cloth. Morning sun with afternoon shade is ideal.

Watering: Slightly increase watering during extreme heat but ensure the soil drains well. Mist occasionally to help cool the plant.

Ground vs. Pot: If grown outdoors, mulch around the plant to protect roots. Potted plants should be moved indoors during heat waves.
